Well that ugly high-rise from the 60's on Cordova Avenue north west of Bloor and Islington is also about 36 storeys tall, so I wasn't sure if Parc Nuvo beat it out...

Correct. Parc Nuvo has 9 ft ceilings up the penthouse where they are 10 ft.

I'm not fond of the architecture on this one but if you stand on the south side of Bloor St W at High Park you'll notice how this project and the new 4$ hotel neatly bookends your view.
