Look at all that space! We bring the LRT to grade and then raise Eglinton West over the LRT and then a second deck on top for a 401 bypass!
This is facing East. The caption for the photo says "Future Ontario Line station entrance and plaza at southeast corner of Queen Street East and Strange Street (Riverside-Leslieville)." Strange street is on the West side of the tracks. On the project page for this station it says this view is looking west. Is that correct? If so, that large blue building next to the corridor will be demolished?

That makes sense, weird than when you hover over the pic with curser and say looking west when it should say looking eastThis is facing East. The caption for the photo says "Future Ontario Line station entrance and plaza at southeast corner of Queen Street East and Strange Street (Riverside-Leslieville)." Strange street is on the West side of the tracks.
The Eastern overpass is covered in this threadI don’t believe that there is an Eastern Ave specific discussion board but am thinking the outcome of the new Queen st bridge will be similar in terms of both style and the near doubling of “sidewalk” space underneath. This pic was taken at the new Eastern bridge today and you can see the old bridge /sidewalk space in the background…. What a difference! It’s sooooo much better/bigger and less dingy and creepy

Aren't the beams supposed to have the weathered steel look?1st one is under the bridge
2nd one is looking south
Both were taken from a streetcar window that’s why there are weird reflections lolView attachment 612197View attachment 612198
