Didn’t one of these get lost underground at Jane and Bloor and it took a few million dollars to retrieve it?

It didn't get lost so much as stuck on a stray piling of a building that probably didn't show up in any planning documents

hawc, kotsey do you have any recent drone photos of the area just south of the Ontario Science Centre where the Ontario line will be turning west?

Particularly the area above the ET Seton Archery Range? The facebook page created by the archers there have recently reported/noticed the encroachment and widening of the work area that has caused the range to be reduced/reconfigured. It's an active group and some aerial photos would be great to see.

Until this past week, I believe archers could enter the archery range from the south (i.e. right of the photo). They (Metrolinx/Ontario Hydro) clear cut that part (3:00-4:30 radian, rightish) on Monday. Incidentally, that's where a lot of deer would feed and there's been loud grumbling/anger on Beauty of the Don on Facebook.

Apart from the final sentence about the elements, couldn't this argument be used against having windows on a subway car at all?

Except for being able to see outside on outdoor sections, or being able to see the station the train is entering.
