It's an awesome neighbourhood. My hope for the cladding is that it's actually white (or very, very light) with black window mullions. It won't be too long now to find out.

I just hope it doesn't resemble the precast used on the towers Tridel is building at Bloor/427. Those renders gave the same impression as the 1 + 2 Old Mill renders. See below.

Considering that Tridel sometimes uses the same materials on different projects that are built around the city at the same time...it is possible One and Two Old Mill will be clad similarly to West Village. My fingers are crossed, however, that it's actually white cladding and black mullions and not shades of tan beige. That will look a whole lot classier! I wait with breathless anticipation of what the final choices are here.

I don't think Tridel would want these buildings to look similar to their other projects. These will look very unique and tastefully for this type of area. $$

Cladding started on N. Parking level. Seems like it's the typical tan beige color. Hopefully it starts to look better as the do more....

Not white precast, but it looks like a lighter beige than what was used on West Village. I like the black stone and hoping that black window mullions are used.

Would a Tridel representative, who visits Urban Toronto, happen to know and be able to post the exterior material makeup?
