The glass is just being installed on the balconies now, because they've just got it now.

What's up so far looks fine to me.

They finally painted the lines in for the all-way walk, now if they could only do this at Dundas and Yonge.

The balcony glass is THE crucial element to the whole design. If they get it right, the building will be stunning - if they get it wrong the curvy attitude of the balconies disappears and the building becomes just another building. I say we give them time to figure it out. It will be worthwhile in the end.

There's nothing to figure out. Glass is going up already. We've published photos of it. This is from two weeks ago:

To be honest, these balcony glass could have done wonders if they were BLACK instead of WHITE ....
BLACK glasses like those used for X and X2 would have made this building stand out better and possibly be a true gem for the city.

This rather gorgeous day is a good opportunity to post photos from near the top of One Bloor East which I took on October 30, when the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, Toronto Chapter, was hosting a tour of the region for attendees after the end of the worldwide CTBUH conference in New York City.

I'm starting with a shot of The Uptown, from where Benito has taken so many great shots of this building.

U Condos really stand out to the southwest.

Both the Humber Bay Shores skyline and the Mississauga City Centre skyline make significant marks to the west.

Bloor and the Yorkville area should look amazing at night from up here.

The Four Seasons stands out close by to the northwest.

Yonge Street leads off to more mini-skylines to the north.

The condos of Charles Street are Manhattanizing the area to the southeast.

And it's Downtown…

Thanks for the shot of my building Craig!

You can see the glass that has now been delivered in crates and waiting to be installed on some of the south facing balconies. I'm sure getting the building closed in is a greater concern than the balcony glass given the upcoming winter weather.
