Ooooh! Asymmetrical balconies, so unique!

Bleh.

I miss the peanut, why do we keep getting hosed? Weak effort from Core.

As odd as it may sound, I think we're starting to get pretty spoiled in Toronto. This is a solidly-executed, modern design. It's not a show piece and it has no 'wow' factor, but it adds quality to the fabric of the cityscape.

I also lament the lack of showy landmarks in Toronto, but I'm not going to begrudge this relatively small but well-done project because of it. In a town still putting up mediocre designs by P+S, G+C and Kirkor, our derision is better spent elsewhere.

I enjoy the balcony motif. The tower is neo-modernist but the balconies are a bit playful.

St Mary Street is a little oasis. We used to live in that v-shaped rental apt building and over-looked the (now) construction site from our south-east view apartment. For an all-glass exterior it looks very decent.
