seems like the project is proceeding now that spring has come. Today the gates were all open and there was new construction equipment and around half a dozen workers on site. Some piles of earth had been moved (at least from what I remember of the site more recently).

I listened in on the adjustment committee hearing. It was very interesting. They said the delay was partly due to engineering issues, including the fact that the soil there isn't very good. Thoughts?

My hands were too full to take a photo, but they have excavated a lot of earth, it seems likely initial digging is finished, as for weeks trucks have been lining up in the nearby streets all day long to haul the dirt away and now they seem to have all disappeared. There is a lot of activity all around the site for the past month, so it seems like they are now intent on making quick progress.
