I also shot this on Monday and it was windy AF. I didn't get the shots I wanted but here are a few of what I could get. It had been quite awhile since I shot this building, and the area, and man have they made progress!

From certain angles I like this building, from others, not so much. To be honest, I find the architecture of M City a little too much. My love of international style simplicity is showing (maybe my age also )

...I think M4 and M5 are slated be more conventional in their styles.

Ive been trying to figure out if I like assemblage of towers together in this development but something always seems off.

From strictly a skyline perspective, I feel like the proportions and siting of the first three towers are part of what make project look off. M1 and M2 always seem disjointed because they’re exactly perpendicular to one another, so, (unless viewed at an oblique), one always appears slab like while the other is showing off the extreme angles. M3 (being a slim point tower) just seems out of place next to the first two.

Plus the odd separation between the M1+2 and M3 caused by that linear park makes M3 look out of place. Hopefully it’ll be less odd once the other towers fill.

Just an opinion, either way something seems off.

I agree in full, and it's partly due to these massive podiums/blocks that make each if these towers feel more disjointed and distant from not only each other, but the surrounding developing urban environment (its still suburban, and arguably will always be in most ways)

Is it just me cuz eventhough mississauga has many highrises/skyscrapers, it still feels too empty (skyline wise) to be building above the 250m+ range?
Plus m3 looks super out of place and it's going to stick out like a sore thumb on the skyline and not in a very good way

M4 under construction next to it will be 215m and then M6 next to it is almost 200 m. I think eventually the block of houses north of Burnhamthorpe will get developed too.

They’re building similar things in Vaughan with even less precedent. This is the new world and MCC is in particular a 30 year project which might conclude with 100 floor towers making the current ones look small.

Ohh right, well atleast it increases density and won't make m3 look so out of place, but for a while even with m1, m2 and ex1 it'll still stand out
I think they're trying to turn mississauga into a second downtown which i somewhat think it's a good idea, but mississauga is still super suburban, literally right next to m city there's suburbs
