I had a chance to do a lot of walking yesterday with my husky. About 25km. Realized that Shangri la looks big from close up and against a back drop. But from far away or stand alone at a distance, its size is not really felt.

does your husky like skyscrapers too?

Did you happen to walk past 2 (chain smoking) photographers early morning on august 22nd on the bathurst bridge over the tracks?????? if so i was one of them

I used to have a black lab that loved downtown walks, but hated going onto any canyon-like streets...think he didnt like skyscrapers that much

I'm also very impressed with First Canadian Place, that scaffolding sure has come down, hard to believe that it's been a year to get to where it is now.

AMAZING shot!... i'm actually stunned by how the skyline is being extended PAST city place! funny how it looks apart of "downtown" (to tourists), when in reality, it's not...

Toronto just pulled a Chicago gold coast!

now we have to focus on the east side of the skyline (it ends too abruptly with that ugly beige bunker)

Great shot. Funny how Shangri-la looks higher than the Ritz from my POV (from the north) but dramatically shorter from the harbour. Ice 1 & 2 are going to fit in there perfectly too.

Sweet Jasonzed, I always love your epic photo skyline updates, you have a great eye for locations and getting the best shot of the whole city, very cool....your last shot, it is amazing to count all the towers that just didn;t exist even 5 years ago!!!! Holy crap!!!
