Toronto Living Shangri-La Toronto | 214.57m | 66s | Westbank | James Cheng

Shangri-La looking very good....nice pics, current!!

Looking amazing! I do hope they repave that part of simcoe for the guys in the SLSs, LP560s and 458s. ;)

Something about this building feels a lot more exciting and welcoming than the Ritz... maybe it's just the location and the fact that this hotel doesn't shy away from the street...

On a side note, I came across this tour of the Shangri-la Vancouver penthouse.... and I thought the Toronto one was amazing... I mean, no one has really seen the finished product, but it's really really hard to top the one in vancouver, (any Toronto penthouse for that matter)

but it's cool to see the design cues reminiscent in both (the giant glass fins that wrap around the balconies, making them seem less terraceish and more indoor-feeling, it's pretty awesome i have to say)

The best part of this building is the base. It has some movement and articulation.
The tower is pure crap, and it seems like a lot of people get sold on height and miss the
detail that could be added.
