When I was walking by here yesterday I noticed a sign on the site mentioned that this building will be mixed use. What kind of mixed use will it be? Will they finally be getting some retail on this part of the street or will it be offices? I thought this was just going to be strictly condos. With Garrison Point, just across the street having lots of retail, I don't see why this development shouldn't have some too. This dead street needs some life! Does anybody know what's up here?

I don't think lining this street with retail would make any difference. If it did, the developer probably would have gone through the hassle to build it.

What's going in the space between these towers and the rail corridor. Looks like a mess now.

Agreed. The curve and spike-like effect of the balconies is pleasant change from the relentless series of big slab buildings that characterize LV.
There is one more slice of property between this and Strachan, so the view to and from will be blocked.

At least there's the gridlocked traffic to animate the street.

Yes, traffic there is terrible. I was walking through around 8:30 pm and it was still packed. I'm so glad they put in the new traffic lights because crossing Strachan Ave. was always a problem.

Some nice rhythms on this one's exterior.

I don't mind this one but the architecture in this area is atrocious...thanks in large part to Plazacorp.
