Toronto Lago at the Waterfront | 162.15m | 50s | Mattamy Homes | Graziani + Corazza

is it just me... or do they build these Lago buildings extremely close to Ocean Club?

It looks like they are so close to the point you can jump from Ocean Club's balcony to Lago's balcony?

Thoughts?

Thank you for the photos Kelz. I am not familiar with this site.
The five story structure is Lago proper and the pit is for the boutique condo,"Riviera," located on the north end of the site, yes?

any word on when the buildings facing lakeshore are going to get built? all of the condos seem to be passing up on building them.

Ocean Club is the first built of the batch that they are planned for. (These commercial low-rises are also planned for Park Lawn, and they have been constructed at the same time as the larger buildings on that street.) So far the only others with this plan on Lake Shore where the larger buildings are under construction are Lago and Jade Waterfront. I don't know if the agreements with the City stipulate a timeframe within which the commercial buildings are expected to be built, but I won't be surprised by whatever the delay ends up being here, as these probably wouldn't prosper until the area was substantially built-out otherwise.

From two days ago, now seeing the first of the balcony off-sets, and some masonry on the lower floors:
