Toronto Kingston&Co Condominiums | 38.4m | 10s | TAS | Teeple Architects

Update:
On Kingston Road, just east of Victoria Park Avenue in Scarborough, construction is in full swing on a new mid-rise condominium development, set to add 145 residential units area. TAS and Main and Main Developments' Kingston&Co. Condominiums began construction in October, 2015 with a ceremonial ground breaking, followed by shoring and excavation later that year. By the time of our most recent update in mid-February, the Teeple Architects-designed project stood five storeys over Kingston Road, and has continued to grow over the months that have followed.

I purchased a unit, and will be one of the first to move in. I received word yesterday that my final occupancy date has just been pushed back to mid-to-late February 2018.

I'm excited, and actually fine with welcoming Spring from my new location.

I'll keep posting info as I receive it!

Took a stroll around the neighbourhood today. Snapped some pics on the way.

Quite muted for the moment, but headed for red by the time it reaches the top floor (if plans are still the same as rendered).

They appear to be staying true to renders. Although I do know some of the balcony walls they show colour on will actually be glass. I checked from south side of Kingston rd and it appears they've done multiple balcony ceilings and they have the varied hues like the render. Sort of hard to tell in this photo, but it's there.

Colour keeps coming - on front and back.

*Technically* they've gone away from the renders, but for once it's good. On the render, the balcony ceilings are black, but they've now changed them to the colour of the balcony wall. Minor change, but a nice addition.

From a couple days ago. Once we get up close, you'll see that the afternoon sun doesn't hit the painted balcony walls, and that the yellow and orange paint jobs are quite pastel.

Compared to some of the developement getting built downtown. This looks like a nice solid looking structure, with a great view I presume!
