It's probably not that easy to find one supplier that would make them match exactly what the bankrupted supplier produced?
I'm not sure it's not my field
It for sure complicates things because if they took what's in the warehouse then the new supplier would need to match it 100% for the rest
But the inventory may be held by the court the supplier declrared bankruptcy etc.
Who knows
 
I hope they bought a lot of spare cladding to store somewhere. If it's this hard to source the product now, imagine what it's going to be like in 20 or 30 years when it comes time to replace broken or leaking panels.

You are absolutely correct.........the bankrupting of the company screwed up this and other projects big time.

Do you think there are tangible risks to the project/quality of this project? I would imagine this is a flagship build for Westbank, but they also don't seem to be doing well right now.

The material price fluctuations, global procurement and receivership are definitely adding the challenge to this project. But it will get built, especially when Allied stepped in, that's all I can say.

Who was the curtainwall/window wall supplier?
 
...currently, it's just a cladless sculpture that takes up a whole block. >.<
