I agree! I actually thought there was going to be a larger "park" on the South side, but it's a really narrow corridor between those two buildings.
 
The Herman Miller building will eventually become a 15-storey retirement condo:

And to the west of that there is a proposal for a 15-storey office building but that project has been stalled these couple of years:

Any new development along Wellington could be, more or less, be as tall as these buildings.
