Toronto INDX Condos | 178.6m | 54s | Lifetime | P + S / IBI

Do we really want the clear glass balconies seen in Salsa's photo facing Nathan Phillips Square as per Pink Stardust's photo? I'd rather have frosted/fritted glass hiding whatever people store on their balconies.

With a building as boring as INDX, resident's stuff might actually add some much needed visual interest. Condo owners nowadays are a pretty conservative bunch anyway, I find most balcony clutter is kept to a "minimalist" level. Now if this was an older rental in a crappier neighbourhood, I'd be worried.

Seriously though, on these bland window-wall towers I usually look forward to the pop of contrast provided by the balconies, yet here we don't even get that. The hulking Sheraton podium is more engaging from NPS than this building.

From yesterday afternoon.

Some residents will have a real nice view of Nathan Phillips Square.

From Monday. The hoarding along Temperance St is now removed. It's not total darkness anymore.

Worth mentioning (as no-one has said it outright in the thread yet that I can see) that the south side of INDX has the USB ports too. They've been viewable in the last fews photos of the building's south side, but we never got to see renderings of that side, so it wasn't certain they'd be there. Now we know.

Thanks for the pics as always G.L.!

Now i'll always think "USB ports" whenever I see this building. Thanks.
