Yup. Every single project that's in this stage or close has been at a standstill for the past few days. The Milan site, for example, appears to be completely abandoned. Hopefully June will be nicer weather.

Update on the south east corner of the pit:
An interior wall goes up, the south wall gets longer and a the 12th pillar is poured.

Update on the north side:
There are a bunch of sewer pipes ready to be installed.

I only see one crane base right now. I'm guessing 2, one for each building.

Jivey and Belinda's photos give an idea of the size of that ramp for the trucks and the equipment.

With all the rain earlier in the week, the site looked like a scene from the front in WW1 (the view from the trenches). Those pipes or rods sticking out of the walls of the shoring; are they for attachment of other materials or concrete in the shoring process?

Have seen these before for other projects.

May 26 2011 update:
- a second interior wall, pretty close to the first one, maybe the start of a stairwell
- some more columns were put up, they're building 4 at a time
- the south wall got longer
- they built a staircase, perhaps for the construction workers to use to get into and out of the pit
- yesterday there were about 100 (give or take 50) dump trucks taking dirt away, it looks like excavation is almost complete
- with all the rain my patio is less dusty
