Well, I've noticed a few people working on the site and some activity fairly recently, like wood frames being built around the windows and excavation at the back. But it's hard to see much from the street, I should try to go to the alleyway behind the church one of these days.

I'm not sure what the status of this place is now, but when I walked by recently it seemed like things were just stalled. Nobody there, old lumber sitting around, window/roof coverings gone, fences down / wide open. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like they may have given up? Quite a bit different from the other nearby church condo conversion that stalled (Union Lofts at Perth and Wallace). That one at least is actively secured and maintained.
