Yes, it's looking good. It's rare to see a red brick condo façade in the 905 suburbs.

What is going to be on the first floor commercial? I'd have to think there is going to be a grocery store in this node somewhere, right?

I believe it's residential, but I could be wrong. None of the renders for Gallery Towers has shown any significant retail. The retail in this block will be integrated with Gallery Square/House.

I feel like Downtown Markham is emblematic of how BDPQ has evolved over time. Doing basic residential stuff 15 years ago to this, which is actually quite good. It's been a great progression, even with some bumps along the road.

Need to get out and get some better shots next time I'm in Markham, but this tower is looking quite sharp. There's a nice urban streetwall developing in there too, although this is all I managed to capture for the time being.
