My opinion, The Bedford is humdrum and Museum House is appalling. (for as long as it doesn't have a neighbour of similar height) This one fits somewhere in between those too. I agree the mass to height ratio doesn't compliment the stacked look at all. However, anything that suggests gravity defying is bound to grab attention. Probably will flood MLS with lots of photos soon too.

Rich and poor eat at McDonald's. It's not a restaurant you can associate with any class of people. You can put the Golden Arches on a gleaming all-glass storefront for a clean and upscale minimalist look that would suit the building fine. A McDonald's could fit into any neighbourhood in the city with the right storefront.
 
The old McDonalds was a major destination for UofT students and families going to the ROM. No doubt the new one will be too.
