Toronto eCondos | 195.67m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

Yup was told by one of my platinum agent that E2 is releasing for sale in two weeks with price starting at $900/sqft. 450 units . Occupancy will probably be later than E1 so maybe 2020/2021.

my platinum agent told me the same thing :
E2 400+ units , $900+ per sq feet releasing date Mid Oct , closing 2022

E2 Condo:
http://e2condo.ca/

These "Platnum" agents (aka Kulwant Singh) have platnum for brains,... first it's "E2 Condos By Metropia & Capital",.. then "E2 Condos on Yonge and Eglinton is a new condo development by Bazis Inc. and Metropia located at 8 Eglinton Ave W" (yes WEST!),... "The development is scheduled to launch in October 2017.",... then "Developer Bazis, Metropia, RioCan" Err,... "Est. Completion Year of 2021",.... all images show e-condo,...... this website has soooo many typos and errors in it,... and you're dealing with this idiot???

Hi I don't know and I don't deal with this " idiot " " Platinum agent " guy lol
But kinda agree with you what I've found from web is it's very confusing about the info available for the E2 condo from the agents , some of them said it's developed by Bazis ? RioCan and Metropia but other stated Capital & Metro , but most of them still showed Econdos pictures with the 2 towers....

Geee,.... trust a platinum/diamond jubilee/golden presidential club real estate agent,... or trust a news release from RioCAN (a respected company),....

It actually makes more sense for e2-condo (the rental tower already 20 storey of forming) to become rental property for RioCan. Why? Because, as we've seen in North York Centre, new residential condo towers with direct subway connections (Bazis EmeraldPark, Tridel HullmarkCentre) are 70% individual investor owned to be rented out VS 35% in the rest of the area. RioCan figured this out and instead of selling off their new residential tower at Yonge-Sheppard Centre as condo units,... RioCan will keep all these residential units and rent them out themselves,.... cut out the middle-man (individual investor who would rent them out). That's what RioCan is already doing at Yonge-Sheppard Centre,... so seeing it happen at e2 condo isn't surprising.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for e2 condo release-sales,....

Just to clear up some confusion here - E2 at E Place will be launching in Mid October, and will be the site at 39-41 Roehampton and will be developed by Metropia and Capital Developments. It will have direct underground access to E, the Subway, the LRT and Yonge-Eglinton Centre.

Everything we know is currently here: https://www.talkcondo.com/toronto/e2-condos/

The condo that was originally marketed as E2 (15 Roehampton) will be rentals as noted by others in this thread.

Hope this helps clear up some confusion

Story up on the front page today:

This section of the building will add a splash of vibrant colour to the tower's otherwise muted palette. The entire amenity level will be finished in red-tinted glazing, creating a visual focal point halfway up the building. Below the red glazing, a glass-walled pool will offer views of the surrounding cityscape to swimmers. It's probably a little too high above the street to be seen clearly by passersby, but will the pool look a bit like a human aquarium?

I lol'ed

But the fact that it's a red-tinted amenity space surprised me. I always thought it was just a mechanical level with a red light band. And a human fish tank?! Are there any other examples of that in Toronto? I know there's a proposed condo with an infinity pool but not a fish tank.

Believe it'll be the first in TO, but Hong Kong beat us to it (we never like to lead on anything, anyway):

One quirk of the building that bugs me is that it is oriented to be parallel to Yonge, while all of its east-west neighbours (including the tower at Yonge-Eglinton Centre) are aligned with Eglinton. Because Yonge is not truly perpendicular to Eglinton at this corner, it means that E Condos is angled relative to its neighbours (you can see that somewhat in steveve's last photo above). It makes for a weird street wall along Eglinton. To be fair, there are elements of the podium that are aligned with Eglinton to mitigate this somewhat near street level, but the overall effect is that E Condos is twisted slightly compared to all the other large buildings around it.
