Toronto Eaton Centre

Winners has announced a grand opening date of August 27th.
American Eagle Outfitters is possibly closed - the store is covered in hoarding and their info has been removed from the TEC website.
The Source locations at the north and south ends are being renovated/rebranded to Best Buy Express.
Quebec's Poulet Rouge will be opening a new location in the Urban Eatery food court.

AEO is being renovated, with an Offline by Aerie being added. The current temp space is 2nd floor right next to Guest Services.
Across the hall, you can see the new Craig's Cookies construction hoarding.

Just a couple notes from CF TEC:
- Vessi has opened a new pop-up in the former PLUS location (which shuttered as part of the brand's significant restructuring move earlier in the summer).
- Construction hoarding has been installed for the upcoming %Arabica, which is taking over the former Starbucks location on the first floor
- Winners opened, but what's interesting is that they also are keeping the 10 Dundas location open as well for the time being.
- Ricardo's Kandy Korner opened in a permanent location beside Hot Topic and across from the new Winners.
- Not huge news, but Greenhouse shuttered it's Hudson's Bay location, which was beside Starbucks and the shuttered Saks Pusateri's Food Hall.
- And finally, a new adidas sign has been installed on the outside of the mall.

The big questions:
- What's happening with 2 Queen?
- Why has nothing gone into Free People yet?
- What's going to happen with the former Ted Baker London and Williams Sonoma on the 3rd floor.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the expanded selection at the 10 Dundas Store.

The Eaton Centre location doesn't have housewares or kids sections

A company called "Vessi" selling waterproof shoes? Oh boy. They should try opening a store in Montréal.

Based on a few visits to both Winners locations, it seems that the Eatons location carries a bit more trendy items. But this location is pretty small which might be why the other location is still operating or the lease isn't up yet.
