Toronto Eaton Centre

Town Shoes has opened in their new location in between the Disney Store and Hallmark on Level 2. Their previous location near the Queen St. entrance is now covered in hoarding.
The Me To We social enterprise shop is now open as well.
Lush's olfactory emanations have been quite reduced since they moved into their new location. Saje's scent levels are surprisingly not particularly strong either.
Bluenotes has not re-opened anywhere else in the mall. It's been replaced by Journeys. However, the Bluenotes website still lists their Eaton Centre location as being open.

Shame photos can't be directly uploaded (with ease) here -- this link has a rendering of the store, as well as mall floor plan where Uniqlo will be located at TEC: http://www.retail-insider.com/retail-insider/2016/8/uniqlo

What's interesting is despite having exterior branding, the Uniqlo store will be accessed from within the mall (see floor plan).

Look closely at the rendering, as the corner retail space facing Yonge Street appears to be a sports retailer -- if the rendering has any degree of accuracy regarding the tenant for that space, that is.

As I said in another thread, I really doubt that the Uniqlo rendering is accurate since it doesn't even match the contours of the actual building exterior.

Yeah… that rendering is bullshit. (Sorry.)

Here are some pics inside the new Dundas Street entrance for UNIQLO and Nordstrom:

UNIQLO exterior sign under construction on Yonge Street. It is facing diagonal to Yonge Street, not perpendicular as in the rendering previously posted.

So happy to see they are replacing those heavy ass doors with sliding doors!! Those Eaton Centre doors are my least favourite doors to use.

These don't look cheap. They actually look pretty good for sliding doors. Nothing like you'd see at a grocery store.

This is the cheap crap most retailers go with:

Hopefully, they'll fix the connections from HBC to the rest of the mall/Queen subway station. Those doors have a horrible swing and are really awkward - everyone goes through the accessible entrance.

A peek at UNIQLO's interior under construction:

Nordstrom's Red Carpet Gala was tonight - here's some live models in the window:

Mackage is now open on Level 3. Zvelle shoes opened up a pop-up shop in the previous H2O+ location. Honey has opened in the former Danier Leather space. Lids has moved into their new location on Level 1 beside the Fido store. And in case anyone forgot, UNIQLO is now open!

Edit: The Zvelle pop-up closed on September 29th.
