No, in place of the road, there's a mirror in the model, so viewers of the model could see the underside.

This bridge removal and replacement is being done quite very fast,

Completely different beasts. One is privately funded, the other is through the city. One is a bridge, the other is the entirety of City Hall property on top of a parking garage. Apples and oranges.

A couple of days ago I tooks some pictures of supports on the bottom side of the bridge to either support the streetcar wire or some sort of structure underneath probably like the one that was there before and on every other bridge and underground streetcar section in the city.

I wonder if they're assuming there will be enough foot traffic inside for there not to be an issue with birds hitting the glass. Seems like that's some pretty expansive and clear glass towards the Eaton Centre side.
