I realize I won't be able to change your opinion, and I'm not trying to. If you support these fences, then you surely support the jersey barriers around Union, and surely you support the closure of the metal slide at Corktown Commons.Sorry, why is this a reason for them to move? Clearly they are demonstrating a reason to stay, ensuring safety from all angles of their operations.
Personally, this factory is one of my favourite staples of the waterfront. It makes chilling at Sugar beach entertaining and unique. And is also a great example of how big factories can live in harmony within a city. We need to celebrate the types of relationships that make Toronto standout from other waterfront cities (a beach outside of a factory).
Could they improve the street side presence off Queens Quay? 100%. But this can be easily achieved without moving to Brampton.
I support none of them.
