I like those sculptural minimalist towers from the 1980s. The architecture isn't that exciting, but it's more refined than the cliched 1960s slab apartment towers. There's something interesting about even the most ordinary minimalist-modern architecture from that time period. It was built when Postmodernism dominated both residential and commercial architecture. People still bought into Modernism even at a time people far and wide were criticizing the Modernist architecture of the 1960s.
