Ah, I see that street trees have gone in on Eglinton east of Don Mills, along with new sidewalks, a real condition improvement right there.

The office block at the corner, when delivered, will also really help this intersection be a bit (only a bit) less hostile to pedestrians.

From than angle I can't tell, but I assume Don Mills has not yet received any applicable streetscaping.

Once this building opens, the Crosstown opens, and the base streetscape improvements are complete for this section of Eglinton, they'll begin to be a semblance of a 'there' there.

I'm looking forward to this corner not just feeling like a desolate highway interchange. The roads are very wide here, and it will still be far from ideal, but much, much improved.

Improvements are also coming to Don Mills Road south of here towards Overlea which will improve cycling and pedestrian conditions.

Was at the neighbouring HOUSING NOW sites at Don Mills Crossing today. Weather was good - so I snapped some photos of the private development on the NW Corner...

Building is now topped out on the northern side (10th floor forms being put into place, aka the roof), while the 9th floor elevator core and columns are mostly done. Should start to see more cladding soon now that the main structure is close to completion, and hopefully an opening sometime this year
