I'm going tonight/tomorrow morning, but just an FYI for everyone, CTV News just said the actual raising of the TBM from the tunnel will end at around 11 pm. The TBM will then sit on a specialized truck until the subway closes, and then it will make its journey to the other side of the line.

That's what CTV News said. The actual move of the TBM won't take place until 2, but the raising will happen before that. I was under the impression the ascent, move and descent would all take place between 2-5 am.

You're right. The lift will begin at 9:00 and will take 1.5 hours. The TBM will sit on the cart until 2. The TBM will start it's move at 2.

It was worth staying up for. I didn't stay for the move across the Allen, but the seeing the TBM lifted was worth it.
You don't have to wait until 2:00, the TBM was visible around 11:30.

It was actually really busy this morning. Lots of people came out. For those wanting to see Lea raised tonight, Metrolinx tweeted that it's happening at 7 this evening, so some decent day shots are possible.
