red is proposed buildings (approved or not), yellow is buildings that have start pre construction sales, and blue is under construction. Grey is buildings that are complete but not featured in google earth (Google earth did its imagery in 2014 so anything built since then isn't there).

Wouldn't it great to see this buildings facade in a golden bronze look in stead of the same old blue green look. We already have the Aura in blue green and the other proposed high rises across the street in black and white. This would create a diversity of colours to see from above.
 
See the architecture. Not the colour. That said, bronze would be hideous. It just feels the desire for more colour, cladding materials, architectural inspiration is taking over for good and bad architecture.
 
Clearly people want more colour in this city.

Absolutely! If we all recall our CBD back in the 80's and 90's and the variety of colour on our highrises from black to gold and white and granite red, and how great it looked. I don't mind glass towers, even those in the green blue glass.... Buts let's not make that, the majority of what this city will look like in the future, even though at the moment, that's what it already is!
