Toronto CityPlace Puente de Luz Bridge | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex | Francisco Gazitua

Yeah, look around.... its also not over water.

Strange, as I read it Khristopher was talking about the bridge, not the sinuous sinews of steel snaking their way sub-span vs. the fluvial flow of the Bow.

Here are some daytime shots from yesterday (Aug 6). Thanks to the guy on the Bathurst bridge who asked if I was from Urban Toronto, which inspired me to finally create an account here.

My girlfriend thinks it's gaudy and has already decided she doesn't like it, but call me crazy, I think it's kind of fun and I really like the colour. Together with the orange triangle thing I think it makes CityPlace feel a little more fun and a little less serious. Plus, it's the only yellow bridge I can think of in Canada.

The colour keeps reminding me of this old Volvo.

Because it detracts from the bridge. It could have been done differently. But hey, I donate anonymously :)

Thanks for the shots, iainmccampbell.

I like the colour. It works nicely against largely uniform colour areas down there.

It reminds me happily of when the CN Tower first opened, and the bridge across the tracks to it was orange-ish. A little bit of colour in a sea of railway tracks.

The sign is 100% temporary. Its just a banner, the same kind used on anything Concord builds.
