A closer look at the 3rd level floor getting ready for the pour beginning tonight at 11 pm. I'll try to post again tomorrow after the pour is complete.
The CIBC update implies that a fourth crane is going to be installed on Sunday but I've not seen any activity that would resemble prep work for a crane. I can only assume that it is going on the north side towards the park area where it will be able to service the core construction as well as helping with the construction of the elevated park above the tracks.

Might be to avoid the wind while they pour the floors? Usually there's formwork up around to protect them from the wind. They may also be spraying fire-retardants on the steel that they don't want flying out to the street. Can anyone tell me the purpose of the temporary curtains they've installed? I've never seen this during construction before.
Also to keep the heat from heaters in...Might be to avoid the wind while they pour the floors? Usually there's formwork up around to protect them from the wind. They may also be spraying fire-retardants on the steel that they don't want flying out to the street.
