I think it's against code to have a main door of a home open immediately onto a public sidewalk but don't quote me on it
If you go on Mill east of Cherry (south side) you’ll see a couple blocks of units that open right onto the sidewalk. The ground level units on the south side are also the same, but currently enjoy some privacy

The bedrooms look pretty small last time I walked by it. It seems like the more bedrooms you get the more spacious the layout is.
 
All the rain this week didn't even slow these guys down.
