July 31st Update

The forms have been removed from "the hat" revealing it's true shape. Framing for the lobby windows facing Charles Street appears complete and scaffolding is coming down indicating that the brick work is complete on the west side of the building.

It's like a square screw. Laureen Harper should live there; she's had lotsa experience being screwed by a square

Yesterday, I could see the crane from X coming into view from this angle, so perhaps I'll get to see X from my balcony soon? (A sliver just to the left of Manulife, or above BSN--not seen in this photo below.)

that 2 storey building on the corner is perfect for densification.

while they're at it, include the 3 storey one next door .... i don't think there's any heritage designation to it, is there?
