what a hilarious park! i wonder how this one will age.

honestly, i like it so far. the canadiana is cute, accurate, and kind of ironic. at the same time, i feel coupland is in vancouver right now, laughing with his east coast friends about how he suckered toronto into making a park that is so ridiculous and cliched.

let's wait and see!

I dont know, its interesting to watch this take shape. I really had my doubts about how this park could actually work here... but now I can start to see how it relates to the surroundings and I'm pleasantly surprised. Lots of great new photo ops to look forward to with these art installations!

Those look like drainage pipe ditches that will be covered by whatever the surface will end up being in that section of the park.
