So the opening around tree is a bit larger than the older concrete design.

The trench reference is to the floating sidewalk I mentioned earlier.

They say the are still looking at newer standards:

I'm not sure how long it takes to get this right; we know the science.
 
I can't say for sure without doing the research into that...

...I could say though, it might be bad for a person whose mushroom trip went South on them, for example. Which does constitute as a mental health crises to a degree.

But then again, is just outside of lobby as pictured? Or is this effect through out the whole building where the patients can't get away from it? The latter could be really bad.
