^ The entire New Toronto stretch on Lakeshore holds tremendous potential. Perhaps becoming a trendy area someday in the upcoming decades.

Why would they leave so much space between the building and the street? I know this isn't downtown but why not build that wide sidewalk right up to the curb? Those patches of grass are hard to maintain and I think it's just a bad use of valuable land. Main streets like Lakeshore need a more urban look.

They left it incase the waterfront west LRT is ever built and needs to use the space for a widened road.
