A friend of mine who works at the Delta Chelsea just got a memo, from AURA, stating that construction will begin on January 4th

Very good news regarding the neighbourhood notice! This is how most Canderel projects kick off (no fanfare).

I believe they plan to clear the parking lot January 4th and expect to begin the “dig†February/March. I suspect they’ve had some feedback from the city and will get the approvals stamped any day now…

Perfect! I look forward to this building going up - I've always thought that filling that gap was really an important thing for the city, and I look forward to seeing this rise.

I thought they already had the permits to close lanes and put up hoarding. Maybe that's what we'll see on Jan 4, followed by surveying and site prep until they get excavation permits

It would be fantastic if College Park itself is refurbished as part of this project. I can't beleve that more wasn't done to improve the park as part of the RoCP project. Although very small, it's a great urban space.
