I find the ground level and the protruding boxes to be way too busy. I think the project also would have benefitted greatly from the use of brown brick or stone on the podiums (too uniformly white for me).

BUT, I love the distinctive pie latticework tower and the general effect this project will have on Simcoe Street.

It's hard to imagine that before this, the site held a nondescript, 3-storey concrete bunker and a tiny Green P parking lot.
 
I own a denim studio and am concerned about how much the lattice might block the view. Does anyone know how I can visualize this?
