Next up is the trail along Newtonbrook Creek. The trail is connected to the Don River Trail and starts south of Alamosa Park and ends at Finch, just east of Bayview. The trail is partially paved but in only a few brief spots, and once past Forest Grove Drive, you really do feel isolated and away from the city. It's funny how the more you walk the trails, the more you associate street corners and sections of the city with those trails instead of the malls and other landmarks you would normally associate with them. When I think of Bayview and Finch, I think of the small opening to the Newtonbrook Creek Trail and the trail itself.
Next up is the Discovery Walks - Ivan Forrest Gardens. We really only walked this quick path as we were on our way to the Glen Stewart Ravine but decided to record it anyway. There's not much to say here other than there are a lot of beautiful flowers, a fountain, and that it's in a great area. There are more Gardens in the area that we plan on checking out the next time we are in the area.
