thanks guys for leaving some great comments... yes, its crazy how much distance gets crushed by perspective! Its fun picking out individual buildings. I'd like to try this again when weather conditions are better or maybe at sunset....

That's an amazing view. You can often see it heading over the Garden City Skyway and other spots along the QEW, a great preview for people heading to Toronto via the QEW.
 
hi guys, I took this from Firemen's Park on the north edge of Niagara Falls - from on top of the old city dump that you can see along the QEW at Mountain Road.

Flar, yes I drive over the skyway twice a day to and from work so that was really my inspiration for trying to capture that view.
 
^ Yeah, the super zoom lets both the waterfront and the Yonge axis appear together, and then towers are peaking over the tops of hills, too.

I also love the flock of birds caught in the middle, messing even further with the photo's scale.
