The description talks about the photographer's annoyance over the crane cab being locked. Then he admits approving of lockpicking in the comments. Not impressed.
I get that waltzing into an unguarded construction site and taking amazing photos is totally a thing now, but endorsing actual breaking and entering is just flat out ridiculous. Fine line between an explorer and a criminal.

I'm not really a fan of those who do "roofing" though I can see why they want to do it. I just see it as too dangerous and potentially very consequential legally. Hell, I heard about a guy I know who went to the crane on the Grand Park II building and snuck on with other guys and he kept saying how he was shocked about how shaky the ladder was and that it was so windy on the crane. Not trying to offend any fans of it here, or start an online match of "you stink, no you stink worse", just my opinion of the whole "roofing" thing.
EDIT: I'm alright if one has permission to do that like an electrician or someone who asks management or whoever, but I mean people can lie about asking, it's not that foolproof saying you had permission sometimes.

I'm just worried someone will fall. Not because they'll die, but because an innocent pedestrian--or pedestrians--will. It'll happen. That's the main reason I'm not really in favour of rooftopping.

I did this a couple times when I lived in Ottawa 10 years ago, climbing an unlocked crane in the middle of the night, nothing this high of course. But guess what, I didn't take pictures and post them to instagram or facebook. These young guys don't do it for the fun but for the attention, which is what pisses me off the most.

I feel sorry for their parents that they raised such stupid children. One has to be rather self absorbed, selfish, inconsiderate, and insecure to partake in that sort of thing. It's not cool at all.
It's always young kids (16-25 years old) doing it too. It shows a shocking lack of judgement; their brains aren't fully developed yet.

It's not your choice to make. It sounds like you don't understand what laws are and why they exist. This isn't about you facing a punishment, it's about you trespassing on someone's property and potentially breaking other laws also.
Imagine a more extreme example just to make the point: "Murder is against the law. I'm well aware of this fact and the punishment is a risk I'm willing to face." Clearly an extreme example, but I'm trying to explain that it isn't all about you. You have some growing up to do.
