The City of Mississauga, in partnership with the Region of Peel, is evaluating the appropriateness of converting three employment sites to allow for sensitive uses, including residential development.

If I am not mistaken you are referring to the industrial building fronting Mavis. It is owned by a different entity and seems to be up for sale:

Edit: I am not actually sure if it is a different owner; it could be the same owner but it is not part of the above plan since it is designated as industrial/employment use.

It is different owner, that owner has attempted to sell it to SmartCentres, unfortunately, this attempt was turned down
