BTW, the Gupta proposal at Yonge & Steeles is likely dead. It's no longer listed as an active proposal on PlanIt.

It is definitely being reconceptualized. Gupta Group wanted a significant hotel on the site and their consultant told them that it was simply not profitable on the site, and that was pre-covid.

Curious that it was removed from the planning portal altogether though.

Docs are up. Looks like the proposal has increased in height over the past month. Tallest is now 60 storeys, while the Phase 1 has increased to 56 storeys. Total of 2620 residential units.

Missing from the database are 7080 Yonge (Acura North) site with 652 units and 100 Steeles with 2050 units. Additionally there is a 900 unit midrise just east on Yonge at Dudley on Steeles in Markham.
Looks like 10,000 units in planning stages

Further revisions last Fall. SPA dropped for the three western towers, looks like this will be the first phase, with the 60-storey Yonge Street tower listed as phase 2.

Site is now 60, 59, 45 & 38-storeys and totaling 2,532 units.
