The straight section allows for some nice transitioning from the Victorian houses below. Apart from being easier from a technical perspective, it's also nice to have separation between the styles. It's like the building sprouted this other building on top of it. It will allows the restored houses to be read as they were meant to be instead of being reduced to a facadectomy.

Incredibly good! Another home run by HPA. This is partly why I'm so excited about Massey. Some similar elements, especially with the curved aspects (although perhaps more with the overall white cladding than glass in Massey). If Massey's curvaceous glass podium emulates this quality, it'll be a stunner.

Besides the convex and concave curved glass, HP has also done a wonderful job on the fritted pattern in the glass.
