Looks like the OSSTF are expanding their administrative spaces in the properties beside their main building. I've gotten quite acquainted to that area prior to the pandemic. With the Crosstown on the horizon, that whole area around Bermondsey & Eg has good intensification potential for increased employment usages.

What comes to mind right away are the great swathes of land currently occupied by the Honda and Volkswagen dealership along Eglinton, which should have prime redevelopment potential. While east of Bermondsey along Eglinton on the south side, there's that retail plaza and another dealership east of that as well.
 
I am thinking also the north side of Eglinton through this stretch, all it would require is some rental replacement in the redevelopments.

Could become a very strong urban node along Eglinton, well-serviced by transit (especially if Ontario Line is built), and close to wealth of retail and services along the Eglinton corridor from Yonge Street, to Don Mills & Eglinton, as well as the future Golden Mile to the east. Not to mention whatever commercial space is built on-site at this node.
 
Looks like they're expecting construction to begin later this year in October 2020, and be completed around December 2022.

As much as I want to like this, Moriyama & Teshima builds have been a real bore lately. For starters their designs on some of Humber College's Lakeshore campus has been just dry and uninspiring. This one is following the same aforementioned theme.
 
The current office operations of OSSTF have moved to a neighbouring building on Mobile Drive, as the previous building on the development site has been demolished now. No evident shoring work has begun yet though.
