Wigwamen Incorporated has submitted has submitted Zoning By-Law Amendment and Site Plan applications for a proposed 6 storey, 62 unit affordable rental housing building targeted for Indigenous households. The project has received incentive and capital awards from the 2020 Open Door Affordable Housing Program Call for Applications, which was approved by City Council on March 10th, 2021. The existing building onsite will remain.
