525 First Road West by Trolleybus urban developments Inc is proposing a 380 unit with Townhouses and Single Detached houses. A CHCH TV Tower is planning to decommissioned and relocate the CHCH TV tower to another land.

The CHCH-TV guyed mast it will set to dismantled this fall, plans for removal of CHCH mast will start in late October-November

The transmitter tower has dominated the Hamilton skyline since its build completion date in 1960s and receives reception as far as Western New York.

The Replacement tower in Flamborough which started construction earlier this summer is nearing completion, Once testing, troubleshooting, and Stabilization of all signals is complete, the Stoney Creek site will cease operations and shut down after 63 years of service.

I've driven by a couple times. Assuming it's completed, I don't think it's even close to the old one's height. That being said, it's kinda hard to tell how far back from the road it is.

Google Maps from August. I think the tower is around 500 metres away from where this pic was taken.
