Is there a thread for 2 Carlton? The city updated the development application, it will be a 72 storey tower with two 65 storey towers behind, 1100 units total.

If you read closely, it is "only" the two 65s on a 7s podium (= 72 total).

The architects in this town really need some new inspiration. So this isn't a box or two, but still, it is a rehash of some ideas that have had their days. I would love to see energy expended on something that is actually interesting. Meanwhile, there is hope in other projects, such as the Church/Wellesley proposal, and/or Artist's Alley on Simcoe Street.
