I love this. The taller of the towers will take the title of tallest building on the mountain by a good margin (and for nerds, the building with the highest geodetic height in Hamilton).

Maybe in the "old city" but given the elevations in north Flamborough I'd think there's a water tower or something like that near Freelton that would qualify.

Yes, I'm a geography nerd. 🤓

Expect it to get a rough ride. Because won't somebody think of the children! Can't have people looking down on what others are purchasing at Fortinos and such either. 😳
The city just approved a few 20 story buildings just down the street at Upper Sherman and Mohawk. Might not be a difficult as we might think.

Hopefully the city (or the OLT, if an appeal happens) has the cojones to continue in the face of local "concerns"... The Mohawk Rd. corridor is already pretty dense on certain blocks but along with Upper James probably has the greatest prospects for dense development. This particular block is ideal for it, but I still expect outcry from nearby SFH owners.

The city seemed to like the idea of a couple of 10 or 12 story buildings just 200 or so metres away at Limeridge mall, so they really won't have much of an arguement if they are forced to go to the land tribunal.
