You know, the tonal variation of the paneling here........from terracotta, to rust red, to near burgundy to burnt orange is quite astounding to me.......presumably mostly a function of how light is hitting the surface, at what angle etc.

Some of those shades are much more flattering than others.

I think we need to promote @DavidCapizzano from brick master, to King of Cladding..............so that he can focus on explaining what is right or wrong about the choice here, and elucidate how one might do better.

I quite like this at some angles, in some light............in others.....less so......

What's that all about?
